i got to go ahead from my husband to redecorate our ENTIRE apt. this is huge for me. he does not like change if it messes with his space or his ability to create music..so i have to go room by room, moving his studio around until everything is done. all i can think about are the walls. I cant wait to paint..these are some inspiring hand-painted walls my friends..

I love mexican food. all day e’ry day…i would eat it forever if it didnt have the potential to give me a big ole booty.
this little spot in the west village was so delicious. i didnt have high expectations when i sat down but boy was a i wrong. the guacamole is fresh and delicious and you can get fancy kinds with mango or orange and chilies, oh my!
for my main, i ordered the carne tacos (chile guajillo marinated skirt steak, purple potato-poblano salsa, avocado-chive aioli, crispy potatoes, manchego) which were so flavorful that after my first bite i actually said “whoa” ala joey from blossom…my friend ordered the pollo on the strength of one of the ingredients being fried beer (epazote marinated grilled chicken, fava bean-cornpico de gallo, cured onion, salsa negra, crispy beer) and it was banging!
do your tummy a favor and go..the drinks sounded amazing too, but sadly i refrained. no biggie, just means i have to go back!

Today was a particularly good day and heres why: i love makeup. the only thing i love better is FREE makeup. thanks to a Red Light PR meet and greet this afternoon i was able to score some lipstick and cream blush. now i know it may seem like what im about to say is tainted…you may think “yeah, right! they paid her to say this” or “i’d say nice things about free makeup too” but rest assured i take my makeup VERY seriously and my recommendations even more so, AND the fact of the matter is i did NOT get paid…
to be honest, i could live without the cream blush they gave me. not because it isnt a solid product but because i dont mess with shimmery blushes or cream ones for that matter. if you do, you may love this one and by all means check it out…but this post is mainly to discuss the lipstick i received. Tangelo, by youngblood. whatta shade! perfectly what i have been looking for. it makes me look bright eyed and bushy tailed instantly. plus, i would totally put it on my cheeks or throw it on top of another color to brighten it up. its awes.
as for the cream blush, i may use it as an eyeshadow.
